Dr. Sarah Blau joined the WMAH family in 2017. She brings with her a great medical knowledge base and provides a high level of client and patient care. Her attention to detail and the desire to help her patients in every way possible fits perfectly with the WMAH culture. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she worked as a Science Communicator for the Environmental Protection Agency and spent two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer after receiving a bachelors in Physics from Guilford College. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University in 2017 where her extracurricular activities included being the President of the Veterinary Volunteer Service Corps, receiving a National Institute of Health grant, and volunteering as a surgeon for the NCSU Mobile Surgery unit. When not in the clinic, you’re most likely to find her hiking with her two dogs, Cheddar and Pepper Jackson.
