Dr. Ames joined the WMAH family in July 2018 and brings with her 3 years of knowledgeable medical care and excellent client service. Originally from the Albany, NY area, Dr. Ames traveled to the Midwest to attend the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with honors in 2015. Her compassionate care and strong work ethic make her well-suited for our practice. Her special interests include internal medicine and ophthalmology. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, camping, kayaking, playing soccer, as well as spending time with her family and friends. She shares her home with her boyfriend, Adam, and her gregarious orange and white cat, “DiNozzo.”
