“Dr. Bob” grew up near Pittsburgh (go Steelers!) and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. His special interests lie in wellness medicine and dentistry. He is one of the owners of WMAH and is the Operations Manager. Dr. Bob stays very busy behind the scenes. He is currently a member of the Vermont Veterinary State Board and the Vermont Professional Responsibility Program. During his time outside of the hospital, he would prefer to be on his skis, bicycle, motorcycle, kayak, or wearing his running shoes.
Also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Worth is dedicated to the health and well being of companion animals and promoting awareness in animal health care. She has been involved in Organized Veterinary medicine on both a state and national level. She is a former president for the Vermont Veterinary Medical Association, a past delegate to the AVMA, and past chair of the VT Animal Cruelty Task Force. She is the recent Past President of the Society of Veterinary Medical Ethics, and Past Chair of the AAHA Foundation, which administers the AAHA’s Helping Pets Fund. Currently Dr. Worth is President-elect of the American Animal Hospital Association which will keep her traveling over the next year. She has a strong interest in animal welfare and has worked on issues locally and nationally.
Originally from Arizona, Dr. Morris graduated from Cornell University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. With her tireless good humor, compassion for her patients and demand for quality medicine, Dr. Morris has been a most welcome addition to WMAH since joining the practice in 1995. She not only works with companion animals but is well known for her work with llamas and alpacas. She and her partner Alan live on a Shaftsbury farm with 3 dogs, 2 horses, 1 ox, 2 cats and chickens, turkeys, guinea chickens, fish, a goose and a frog. Outside the clinic, she enjoys competitive horseback riding and working on her farm where they produce nearly all of their own food.
Originally from St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Dr. Shaw did her undergraduate studies at Cornell University. After a two-year service in the US Peace Corps (Mali, W. Africa), she graduated from the University of MO College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Her areas of special interest include client education, general soft tissue surgery and feline medicine and surgery. She lives in E. Arlington with her four cats. When not at the clinic she likes outdoor activities, reading, painting, theater, volunteering and eating chocolate.
